Tower of London Zoomed

The next few posts will be from a recent trip to London. We went out in the night and shot some long exposure shots. At some point, I began adjusting the zoom while the shutter was open. Here is what happened.

The first shot without a zoom.

One smooth zoom in.

One small turn every second for the length for the shutter.

The Port

The port by night is beautiful.  There are people milling about everywhere, but incredibly peaceful and serene.  It's the perfect place to sit with friends, talk, and laugh.

Rooftop Sunset

We were finishing up our blackened salmon when Tracy looked out the window and saw the purple light reflecting off the building across the way.  We grabbed the camera and the dog and ran up to the roof of the building to grab whatever bits of the sunset we could.  It was an amazing sunset, which we shared with a few French tourist spending their last night in Barcelona.

A view of the antennas mounted to every building with Tibidabo in the very background.

A typical rooftop.
