A Winter's Dream

On the border of Catalunya and Aragon lies the small village of La Clua. It has 5 residents. On a cold and grey winter day in Barcelona, I dream of looking out over this field as the daylight wanes.

Tarragona Wine Country

We recently visited the Tarragona Wine country with friends.  You can read the article about our time here.  Some of my pictures were used in the article!  These are taken at the Celler Mas Vincenç property.

French Spring

We completely missed our friend's house in Pezenas, France and ended up down a tiny, one lane dirt road.  As soon as we got on the road we should have realized it was the wrong way, but we decided to pursue it.  Fortunately, at the end of the road, we found this.

In the Country

As we walked through the country, it was so much different than our daily lives in Barcelona.  Part of the organic farming here is letting the grass grow to help influence the crops around it.  This field in the latter part of the day was expansive.  

I imagine this scene doesn't look a whole lot different than it did when this house was first built.  Maybe it was 50 years ago, maybe it was 300.  Surely an architecture student in Spain could tell me.  

I've tried to find a history of Sant Pau d'Ordal online, and cannot.  The only history I could get was from the locals.  That's a first for me.
